Turin Auto Museum

A bus ride through the entire city of Turin got us close to the Turin Auto Museum, a grand salute to the history of wheeled transporation from horse-and-buggy-days to the present and Turin's still-important role in the industry. But, we still had to walk several blocks to the modern building, just across from the Po River. The place houses a huge collection of fine rides and everyday vehicles, backed by impressive, historical photos. Especially cool were the sedans and roadsters from the 1950s and 1960s, illustrated with Euro and American posters and film clips from those eras.
